From an Atheist Point of View

Introduction

Wednesday 8th October 2025

The title of this essay is ‘From an Atheist Point of View’ which was chosen because it illustrates the essay’s key characteristic of attempting to follow the scientific method without making any assumptions. The brilliance of this essay is that you don’t need to believe in God, Jesus or Muhammad or any other religious founder or reference any holy book to study it, this also means that atheists and scientists can read it. As you can guess, if this theory is true then its implications are huge because it can be studied anywhere in the world where there are positive-thinking educated citizens. I hope that you enjoy it and please get in touch if you have any comments or questions:

The Main Body:-

Life is unfathomable, but I will argue here that it can be understood in terms of a dynamic relationship between true beauty and true love totally united by give and take action centred on 100% freedom.

So what is science?

Science is when you propose a theory and attempt to prove it objectively beyond reasonable doubt without making any assumptions.

I enjoy the work of a Korean guy called Sun-myung Moon and he wrote a book called The Divine Principle. The book is staggering and this guy claimed messianic status and some years ago he had a large international following but he died maybe 10 years ago.

So, in the book he describes a theory which I will argue here is a new scientific discovery which can be proven by observing the known universe, I’ll describe the theory below:-

‘Everything in the known universe exists in a relationship between a Subject and Object Pair where the subject is masculine and is bigger and stronger than the object which is feminine and both are united by strong give and take action between them.’

So, this phenomenon is seen throughout the universe:-

Humans                  male and female

Animals                  male and female (including mammals, birds, reptiles, fish etc)

Insects                   male and female (often females are bigger)

Flowering plants   male and female

Covalent bonds    Shared electrons where one atom has an extra electron(s)

Ions                        positive and negative

Particles                positive and negative

Solar systems       Sun and planets

Galaxies                Super massive black holes and their surrounding stars

Universe               Not known

You can see the obvious identical relationships that all of these subject/object pairs share and I offer that this is a proof of the theory? Sun-myung also adds that there should be 100% freedom at the centre of these relationships.

However, you can take it even further into the realm of the spiritual by arguing that humans have an invisible aspect we call the mind and a visible aspect which is the body and that these are also in a relationship of a subject and object pair. All animals have an invisible lower class of mind (including an instinct) and a visible body. Insects have an invisible instinct and a body. Particles consist of an invisible energy that has the characteristic of forming the external visible form of a vibrating string which is one of the latest theories in quantum physics.

As you can see I completely avoid any discussion of God, faith, a holy man, a holy book or any religion etc. so an atheist or scientist can read and identify with these ideas and if you fit into this category please contact me? This concept of subject and object can be developed to some very interesting observations. Looking at human individuals man (or the subject partner) can be described as an individual who gives love to a woman of beauty, you can see wide-spread evidence of this theory by looking at any women’s fashion magazine – women aspire to be beautiful in order to win the love of a good man.

Would it be OK for me to argue that from first principles we can understand that love is always looking to give to everyone around it and therefore it has a Purpose for Whole and beauty is looking to attract and receive love and therefore has a Purpose for Individual? This observation is developed further later.

You could say that a world in which women and men exhibit perfect beauty and perfect love totally united by give and take action centred on 100% freedom is the ideal we should all aim for? Such a life would be truly happy with billions of citizens enjoying an almost infinite variety of loving relationships. This is the ideal society worth fighting for. I am sure that students of Social Studies and Psychology are fully aware of these ideas but they probably require a whole text book to explain them. By using the simple concepts of true beauty and true love we can explain the issues more simply, succinctly and accurately.

The Implications for Society

So, what if we argue that beauty and femininity pertains to women and love and masculinity pertains to men? If we accept this we can conclude that there are two ways for a good human to live a good life: a life centred on beauty or a life centred on love.

I argue that true beauty in a human occurs when an individual’s mind is dominant over it’s body 100% of the time and when this happens the dormant true, internal beauty reveals itself. True love can be defined as occurring when an individual sacrifices itself 100% of the time for a purpose greater than itself such as friends and family or even world peace. As you can see there is a tension of opposing forces acting in opposite directions whenever we try to be a person of beauty and person of love at the same time, which is one reason why it is so hard to grow to perfection.

Furthermore, we know that individuals have desires, so there are two types of positive thinking people with two types of desire: people of beauty and people of love. The first is based on purpose for individual and the second is based on purpose for whole. Individuals of beauty are deeply-rooted (like a young Frank Sinatra) and individuals of love are philosophical and high-minded (like Buddha). When a positive thinking individual lives a sacrificial life of beauty (or alternatively love) they can get positive feedback from their daily life experiences that their theory works and it has a unique value. Individuals usually discover just one of these aspects first.

The following ideas are my own work:-

So then they will seek to rationally develop their character according to their chosen ability. But unfortunately they can be ignorant and stubborn i.e. an individual of beauty usually seeks to become more deeply-rooted and an individual of love usually seeks to be more high-minded because it is their preferred tradition. This is because these two aspects: beauty and love do not mix in a similar way that water and air do not mix. They cannot relate to each other and it is very difficult for them to even begin to understand and respect each other. This is because they are as different as femininity and masculinity. It requires a huge leap of imagination for them to even begin to understand each other and this is difficult to achieve.

However, both of these ideas are totally valid and deserve respect and recognition please understand this very important point. But, perfection only occurs when an individual perfects both it’s beauty and love and then these two aspects unite through strong give and take action centring on 100% freedom.

This theory has many applications including explaining differences between faiths that specialise in beauty like Christianity and those that specialise in love like Islam. But please note again I do not mention any religious texts so this theory can be studied by any individual of any faith independently of their faith. Actually, the educated citizens in any society could understand and acknowledge the concepts being described in this essay because they are expressed in an assumption free, logical manner similar to their education. When I first published this website it had an immediate welcome around the world from Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Liberia, the Democratic Republic of Congo to Indonesia etc. and it didn’t seem to be a problem which faith background they came from.

So, this theory has a massive role in any government’s foreign policy but it also has a role in explaining race relations within any pluralistic society such as the UK because it can explain the cultural differences between the beautiful white Western citizens and the loving coloured Eastern citizens, etc.

International Affairs

This theory makes 2 predictions based on the idea that it is a simple mistake to over-specialise in just beauty or just love. So it is predicted that there will be extremism centred on beauty and extremism centred on love.

Prediction number 1:-

As a topical example of extreme beauty lets look at President Putin of Russia (today it is September 2025) :-

I argue that he is a beauty specialist. You can clearly see that he has truly incredible mind and body unity, he is very deeply-rooted and he is very caring of his countrymen. These are qualities of beauty. But being caring and beautiful is of course a GOOD thing so what’s wrong with this?

When an individual discovers a life of beauty (for example) then that individual can get feedback from their way of life that they have discovered something good and relevant to living an honest and true way of life that they can follow in a completely logical manner. This last point is important because it is perfectly possible to devise a completely logical understanding of life centred solely on beauty, for example I’m sure that President Putin believes that he is always being completely logical. Also please note that in order to live a caring and beautiful life it is necessary to be sacrificial and Putin can feel rightfully justified and proud of this. This is OK – it is good. But, sometimes it can then take the next crucial step to come to the conclusion that this is the only correct way to live life and that to create a better or even ideal world that everyone without exception should be forced to have the same belief. This is how totalitarianism begins.

This is wrong on two points:-

1. An individual is born with free will and needs 100% freedom to grow and to live a fulfilling life. A Canadian general once said ‘freedom has a price – blood.’

2.There are two ways to live a good life not one.

So I argue that both President Putin and the Russian people are beauty specialists who hold the view that everybody in the world should also be a beauty specialist.

President Putin lives exclusively in a world of beauty i.e. he sees the world through lenses that only see anything relevant to the world of beauty. He has no understanding of love and that he probably believes that to love others is a simple mistake born out of weakness and ignorance.

As I have already explained a common characteristic of people is that they are stubborn. So when there is a fork in the road a deeply-rooted individual will usually seek to go deeper and a high-minded type will usually seek to go higher because this is the only technique they know, however this is a mistake and a lost opportunity. That is, if we are a beauty specialist we do need to learn how to grow into a person of love, this involves courage and a leap of imagination into the unknown. And visa-versa for an individual who specialises in love, they must take the courageous step to become beautiful. It’s harder than it sounds.

So Putin is totally ignorant of love – but he justifies himself because he argues that he is beautiful and the Russian population agree with him.

Does that simple theory explain what is going on?

Prediction number 2:-

Looking at China – this country is the opposite polarity i.e. they pursue a specialism in kindness and again it is possible to devise a complete logical theory of life which is exclusively centred on love alone (i.e. the purpose for whole). To live a life dedicated to loving others is of course a life of sacrifice. They have a collectively unselfish attitude and this implies that citizens have an obligation to contribute to the national good even at the expense of their preferred individual choice. They do not recognise or understand a character centred on the purpose for individual i.e. beauty.

Can you understand how both a beauty specialist and a love specialist can be proud of their life of self-sacrifice (which confirms their conviction) however these differences can lead to conflict because they cannot understand each other, its a question of ignorance? Please understand that both points of view are perfectly valid and capable of standing on their own independent foundation but instead of fighting each other they should be growing and learning from each other. This new theory can remove that ignorance potentially solving unnecessary arguments and even wars. Perfection requires that we are expert at both love and beauty together, they are two sides of the same coin.

Both China and Russia specialise in a single aspect of the dual characteristics so it is only logical that these two political powers will unite and support each other because they both believe in totalitarianism even though they are polar opposites. However, they are both mistaken because the loss of freedom at the centre of society and the fanatical specialism in only one aspect of the duality is wrong.

I learnt a valuable lesson in my own personal life because I went through a fanatical belief that God is love and therefore it was good to give in each and every situation in life.

I tried so hard to make this idea work that I damaged my mind. I stopped caring for myself, friends and relatives became concerned and this then led to an admission to a mental hospital. You see I was wrong because the correct way to live a good life is not about single aspect of the duality but instead it is a RELATIONSHIP of BOTH beauty and love united together by give and take action centring on 100% FREEDOM.

The Recent Conflict in Israel/Gaza

Why has the USA shown more political support for Israel than Palestine – can the Principle explain this? Putting all of the religious, historical and political issues to one side I argue that Israel is a deeply-rooted way of  beauty type country and so is the USA, you could say that they both come from the same root and because of this there is a unity of mutual respect, understanding and admiration for each other. This is because both Israel and the USA are beauty specialist countries in contrast to the Palestinians, which are love specialists. There is a profound vacancy of cognition when a beauty specialist meets a love specialist and visa-versa, remember the idea that water and air simply don’t mix. There is an almost impregnable barrier of lack of respect, understanding and cognition between a beauty specialist and love specialist (see later). Does this explain what is happening? Actually when two faiths like this meet the complete opposite of conflict should be happening, they should embrace and learn from each other and then grow together towards perfection.

This is a question of ignorance which this essay tries to resolve.

Beautiful Jews have prospered well in the beautiful USA, for example you can look at the outstanding success of Jewish musicians like Carol King, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Paul Simon and Barbara Streisand to name a few. This is the icing on the cake for beauty specialists including both citizens and politicians because this excellence persuades them that they are on the right track. However, as I have explained this specialism is wrong because it is only half the story.

The Conclusion

As you can see this theory is very powerful and universal, but please do not be deceived by it’s simplicity, the best ideas are simple. A world where true beauty and true love are united by a dynamic relationship of give and take action centred on 100% freedom is an ideal that most individuals would happily embrace. As I have already explained we are seeing politics in the world based on either extreme beauty or extreme love. The entire teaching of Judaism and Christianity can be summarised as a faith that pursues the purpose for individual i.e. beauty. The entire teaching of Islam and Far-Eastern faiths can be summarised as a specialism in the purpose for whole or love. Please note I have not quoted or even mentioned a religious fonder or any holy book, I don’t need to because the entire purpose of these faiths can be summarised as being beautiful or loving. Actually studying holy books is not helpful in the context of this essay because clearly the fulfilment of the purpose of these books is to teach the individual how to be beautiful or how to be loving. There is an essence of Yin Yang at play, for example an individual who specialises beauty will have some minor love type ability and visa versa a love specialist will have a minor beauty type ability,

A third prediction would be a political leader who did display both aspects but actually be an imitator of goodness and not genuine, I call this phenomena Formism.

What can be done?

As a dutiful citizen my present goal is to report this idea to the UK government and to support its wider publication through the media – the sooner the better, truly the truth will set us free. Here in the UK we have democracy a free press and a law abiding society, so this is our time. Now I want the UK politicians and respected media companies to promote these ideas widely because they have the potential to peacefully resolve present day conflicts and even more than this they can remove the barriers to an increasingly happy and better world.

If there is the slightest possibility that this theory can work it certainly deserves a close examination?

I know that I am biased but observing the world in my everyday life I can see that this idea works, it is amazing and inspiring. However I have also come across a phenomenon and this is very, very important:-

I have been lucky enough to have had a few really strong friendships with good positive-thinking individuals who have been specialists in either beauty or love. However, even after years of genuine friendship and mutual admiration they still cannot begin to understand the complementary duality. They cannot speculate intellectually and emotionally it’s like they have encountered an impregnable barrier.

This is the nub of the problem and I need you to understand this very clearly:-

Looking at national leaders around the world they frequently have this problem.

Quite often they can be positive, idealistic and sacrificial individuals who are convinced that they are right and the other guy is wrong. This is a problem of mutual ignorance and history teaches us that these differences are usually resolved by force or even war. However, if this new theory is understood a whole new world of potential and peaceful mutual respect can open up, that’s a very exciting prospect.

This new evolution of science explains a great deal, it holds true for relationships within the individual (ie mind and body), between two individuals, between greater groups within a society, between nations such as America ie beauty specialist and Japan a love specialist and also between Western and Eastern religions. This universal application is interesting and further proof of this theory’s validity. It’s my hope that the educated working professionals in countries around the world will discover this new idea and understand the principles being explained and pressure their politicians to adapt.

My exact goal at the age of 16 was to discover how to understand the problem of why individual’s do not grow to perfection and now to my amazement I believe that I have achieved my goals.

Lets build a better world.

Please study hard and and question carefully everything that I say? I’d be happy to discuss these ideas further with you and answer any questions you may have.

THE PRINCIPLES CODIFIED:-

1. Beauty is defined as the mind dominating the body 100% of the time. It is centred on individual purpose.

2. Love is defined as an individual sacrificing their life 100% of the time for a purpose bigger than themselves. It is centred on purpose for whole.

3. The ideal life occurs when an individual’s beauty and love totally unite through a dynamic relationship of give and take action centring on 100% freedom.

4. Over specialisation is a mistake i.e. if an individual specialises in only beauty (for example) this is wrong on 2 counts: an individual needs 100% freedom to develop and grow their character and secondly there are two ways to live a good life not one. This is equally true for those who specialise in love.

5. Sex can happen when both parties fulfil the conditions of 1, 2 and 3 above, when this happens sex will be truly ecstatic and fulfilling. If sex happens when the body is dominating the mind this is a mistake because the interaction is selfish i.e. the purpose for individual of the body is dominating the purpose for whole of the mind – it is a selfish construct.
